Scheduled burn of Sweetwater Wetlands set for March 7

The Tucson Fire Department will participate in a controlled burn of the Sweetwater Wetlands area this Wednesday.  The burn should begin by 8:30 a.m., at the Sweetwater Wetlands, 2511 W. Sweetwater Drive. This burn is to help with Tucson Water's Mosquito Abatement program.  People who are sensitive to smoke should avoid the area for the day.
