Rotary Club of Tucson sets date for 2013 Tucson Classics Car Show | Events
The Rotary Club of Tucson has set the 2013 Tucson Classics Car Show for Saturday, October 19.
The 7th Annual Car Show will be held on the grounds of St. Gregory College Preparatory School at 3231 North Craycroft from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
425 classic cars will be featured on the school’s grassy soccer field, with vendor booths, a food court, entertainment provide by “DJ John” and activities for the children.
Tickets for the show are $5 for adults and are available, in advance, from any Rotary Club of Tucson member, online at www.rotarytccs.com, (520) 440-4503 and at the car show. The entrance ticket includes a raffle ticket for a chance to win a 2004 LeMans Edition Corvette Convertible or $15,000 in cash. Children under 18 years of age will be admitted free with a paying adult.
Proceeds from the 2013 Tucson Classics Car Show will go to support Reading Seed Literacy program, St. Joseph’s Hospital Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit and Youth on Their Own.
There is still time to register a car for the show. Registration applications are available at www.rotarytccs.com and at (520) 440-4503. The registration fee is $25 to enter and additional vehicles are $15.00 each. There is no day of show registration. The show features cash awards for each classification and overall show cash awards.
