Come one, come all to the Sonoran Science Academy Spring Festival | Events
The Sonoran Science Academy-Tucson (SSA) is inviting the community to their annual Spring Festival on April 6.
There is guaranteed to be a little something for everyone in the family from bouncing in the inflatables, racing around in human spheres or playing in the silly string arena. There will even be a Food Truck Round Up, for the foodies in the group. Or for the animal lovers, the Reid Park Zoo will have an animal encounter set up from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
For the smaller guests there will be a critter show, put on by Truly Nolen at 5 p.m. with a tour of the mouse limo as well. Or if bugs aren’t their thing how about a musical puppet show, hosted by Puppet Muzik.
On site will also be the U of A Cancer Center’s skin analysis machine, and free child fingerprinting by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
Opening ceremonies start at 4 p.m. with Boy Scouts of America and their special guests for the afternoon the Tucson Honor Flight. Proceeds from this event will benefit the SSA’s Parent Association.
WHEN: April 6, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Sonoran Science Academy – Tucson Campus (2325 W. Sunset Road)
COST: Admission is free, wristbands for the inflatables are $10, and cans of silly string are $4 for a 6 oz can.
