Parking and travel information for Fords on Fourth event | Events

On March 3, Fourth Avenue is hosting the annual Fords on Fourth Car Show, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Those wishing to attend, and are parking within the neighborhoods around the event are advised to use caution and observe any posted parking restrictions, as well as, not blocking  private driveways, or parking too close (within 30 feet) to intersections.

The following are road restrictions for the Fords on Fourth event:

Beginning Sunday, from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m., Fourth Avenue will be closed between University Boulevard and 7th Street.  Additionally, all cross streets between University Boulevard and 7th Street, with the exception of 6th Street, will be closed between Herbert and Hoff Avenues.

Motorists driving in the this area may experience traffic delays associated with this event and several road improvement projects, including the Sun Link Tucson Streetcar project, so please plan accordingly. The traveling public should use caution when driving, bicycling or walking in this area.

Please watch for event participants, obey all traffic control, and watch for detour signs and personnel providing traffic control.  Further information about ongoing Sun Link Tucson Streetcar construction can be found at www.tucsonstreetcar.com.
