U.S. Rep. Grijalva to receive National Parks 'Friend' award | Environment
U.S. Representative Raul Grijalva will be accepting an award later today from the National Parks Conservation Association.
At 5 p.m. today U.S. Rep. Grijalva will be accepting the ‘Friend of the National Parks Award’ for a perfect 112th Congress. Representative Grijalva is the ranking member of the House Subcommittee on Public Lands and Environmental Regulation, the subcommittee scored a perfect 100 percent on the NPCA legislative scorecard for this session of Congress.
The public is invited to attend the event in the Courtyard of the Historic Y (738 N. 5th Ave.) Monday evening at 5 p.m.
